I’ve held off for as long as I can to type this msg to all of you because it makes me so emotional to leave the place I call home. 🥲

After I left high school in my home town, I came to Columbus (OSU) and started a new life for myself. With my new life came my baby boy, and the start of my cupcake business. I literally started from the bottom and now I’m here lol… recipes from scratch, figuring out the “business” of it… licenses, websites, insurance, employees, YOU NAME IT! Been there and probably done it!

You all helped me grow from my apartment kitchens, to my house kitchen, to a shared storefront with The Pit BBQ Grille; from a side hustle, to part time, to full time, through rough patches, through loss & grief of loved ones, through sicknesses, and maternity leave and much much more.
Y’all…my customers, my day 1s are my true ride or dies because no matter what SKYLA went through y’all were there, for not only me, but my family, and most of all - loyal to Suga Pie’s 🧁.

I’m honestly scared af to leave here and start new, but I know there’s more good ahead of me waiting …🥲
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me for the past 13 years here in Columbus and helping to make Suga Pie’s Cupcakes a known name not only in Ohio but all over across the states! It’s because of you all that I have had so much success. I’ll miss y’all, I love you all, and please continue to support my journey as my family relocates to Houston, TX!

💝 Yes, I’m baking more than cupcakes 🧁 lololol!!! BABY GIRL👶🏽DUE IN JUNE 🌞so now that I’m in my 2nd trimester I’m feeling MUCH better and present, so you’ll be seeing much more of Suga Pie’s again from now on 🙌🏽
💕 I went to Jamaica 🇯🇲 last week for my friend’s 30th and we had an AMAZING time! (Y’all see my man with his Suga Pie’s bucket hat 😏😍) I’m back now… accepting orders online only🧁
💕 Suga Pie’s moved out of our storefront last September and transitioned back to our HOME BAKERY 🏡 I know that whole transition took a lil time for you all to catch on to, and it took me a while to get adjusted also, but we’re back to our routine 💪🏽

💕Business ownership and storefront ownership is NOT for the weak! Managing a team full time, and keeping the store stocked was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also one of the best learning experiences I could have asked for and I’m so thankful for @dmartin_7168 allowing me the opportunity! 🙏🏽😊

💕That being said, I’ve decided for NOW to move back to my home bakery for the remainder of the year. Suga Pie’s will keep all The Pit BBQ locations stocked with sweet treats as usual but cupcakes will go back to online pre-ordering only!!! 🧁📲💻
